Ari didn’t have school today because it is Lincoln’s birthday. I’m not quite sure why they get Lincoln’s birthday off and then exactly one week later they get Presidents day off too, but it’s quite the life if you’re in elementary school. Not so great as a parent when you are trying to figure out what to do with your child, but luckily for us DH is home all the time with Devyn right now, so he is able to be home with Ari too. Not wanting to miss out on all the fun I had them pick up some take-out and then pick me up for a picnic. We went to a park that is just around the corner from my work and in true Ari fashion we had KFC for lunch. Ari took Devyn on her first slide and she was really rather unimpressed. It is windy here, but at least it is nice enough that we can play at the park…not something I was able to do too often on February 11th growing up in Idaho.

Desi - It is so fun to see your cute cute family. Devyn is so beautiful - it must be so fun for you all. And Ari, i cannot believe how grown up she is! So beautiful. Seems like you are all doing well - glad you started a blog! I look forward to reading regularly!

I am so jealous! We have mountains of snow all over! Fun playground, too!
Jen,
This playground is so fun. It has two sections, one where you have to be under like 5 to play on it. All the playground equipment on that side is smaller so the littler kids can play and you don't have to worry about them getting pushed around by the bigger kids. So nice!
